This was done in a fit of inspiration when I suddenly decided it had been too long since I did a Story picture. Since the plot has been worked out now, I've been trying to do pieces aither specifically in The Story, or at least more obviosly relevant to it. This piece is Lin having a nightmare, which – since in addition to running away from servitude she also accidentally poisened most of the guests at the (evil :p) Queen's ball – Lin seemed most likely to be having. This is set in the early days of living in the cabin, when Lin, Josi, and Joy still shared the bed in the single room of the main floor and Alyce and Beth slept in the loft.

Originally I'd planned to make this much darker, more emphasis on the candlelight, more of a dark and scary atmosphere, but I got the shading to this point and decided I liked it as it was, emphasiziing the friendship and love between them all. Besides, darkening it without making a mess of it was getting to be a pain...
